A LOT of information can be gathered from this:
- Of the 437 games in which Messi scored at least once, he only lost 4.81% and drew 10.3%, having won the remaining 84.9%.
- Of the 458 games in which CR7 scored at least once, he only lost 6.55% and drew 9.39%, having won the remaining 84.06%.
- Of the 338 games in which Lewandowski scored at least once, he lost only 6.8%, drew 7.4% and won the remaining 85.8%.

- Of the 80 games in which Haaland scored at least once, he lost only 12.5%, drew 7.5% and won the remaining 80%.
Messi has lost the smallest percentage of games with 4.81%, followed by CR7 @ a little distance, with Lewandowski and Mbappé "close on CR7's tail" and Haaland quite some distance away.
Mbappé has by far the smallest percentage of games with a draw, with only 2.16%. Lewandowski follows @ quite some distance together with Haaland, and then CR7 a bit further behind with Messi "bringing up the rear".
Mbappé ALSO has the highest percentage of games with a win, with 90.65%. Almost 5% away come Lewandowski followed closely by Messi and CR7, with Haaland trailing behind almost another 5%.
- Of the 371 games that Messi won, he scored the winning goal in 182 of them, which is 49.06% of the games.
- Of the 385 games that CR7 won, he scored the winning goal in 219 of them, which is 56.88% of the games.

- Of the 64 games that Haaland won, he scored the winning goal in 34 of them, which is 53.12% of the games.
CR7 has the best percentage of goal winning games with 56.88%, followed by Haaland almost 3.75% away, who is the only other player of the five with over 50%. Next come Messi with just over 49%, followed by Mbappé just over 3.8% behind Messi and finally Lewandowski "bringing up the rear".
It's a shame Transfermarkt only does this @ club level. While it's rather easy to add the information of games for National Team to this, adding winning goals is no easy task and is VERY time consuming.
Since Messi, CR7 and Lewandowski all scored, their percentages change accordingly, depending on their team's results:
- Messi scored @ least once in 438 games --- 371 wins, 46 draws, 21 losses
- CR7 scored @ least once in 459 games --- 385 wins, 43 draws, 31 losses
- Lewandowski scored @ least once in 339 games --- 291 wins, 25 draws, 23 losses
- Messi --- lost 4.79% of the games, drew 10.5% of the games and won the remaining 84.7%.
- CR7 --- lost 6.75% of the games, drew 9.37% of the games and won the remaining 83.88%.
- Lewandowski --- lost 6.78% of the games, drew 7.37% of the games and won the remaining 85.84%.
Lewandowski's goal was considered the winning goal, so his percentage in this stat rises, having now scored the winning goal 128 times in his 291 wins: that's 43.99% of the games. This small increase of 0.2% edges him closer to Mbappé but he's still some distance away from the French player, and still in last place of this stat.
This stat's percentage is changed whenever the player scores and his team wins, regardless of the player scoring the winning goal or not, increasing if yes but decreasing if no. Since only Lewandowski scored AND his team won the game, only his percentage in this stat is changed accordingly.
Since neither Mbappé nor Haaland scored, their percentages remain unchanged.
